CAMS (Confederation of Australian Motorsport) category, is now in its 20th Year and still going strong.
'HQ' Racing clubs and members still participate in each State of Australia. Please see our Links page for details of 'HQ' Racing Clubs around the country. 'HQ' Racing is a heavily regulated category, designed to provide close racing and develop race craft at an affordable price. In fact, our Association's moto is:
"Affordable Excitement".
A vehicle manufactured as a family car back in the early 1970's, has become one of the best loved race cars in Australia. Keeping the cars on the track comes down to dedication and mateship in a class. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, if the desire to race a car is in your blood, HQ's are for you. We even have a number of Father & Sons racing with and against each other in this iconic category.
